Animal Nouveau Tarot - Major Arcana - The Chariot

I might go back and do this one, I'm not super happy with the black horse. I've got a lot to learn in pushing my dark values in watercolor! But I love the design of the piece, a black and white horse is an obvious choice for the card.

The Animal Nouveau Tarot is an in-process deck inspired by the animal kingdom and the works of Alphonse Mucha. Deck completion is currently scheduled for late 2020/early 2021 depending on my client workload and will be funded on Kickstarter. The original pieces are done in watercolor on hot press watercolor paper. The text was compiled in Adobe Illustrator.
