The Hand Drawn Violist

Cats, watercolor, and music... That's the three words my friend's picked when asked what three words described me. I turned it into an illustration as an exercise and liked the results enough to use it as the back of my business card! It's still one of my favorite pieces that I've done, but I know it will be time for an upgrade soon.

Original piece is 6"x8" and was done in watercolor, white ink, and colored pencil. The piece in the background is Berlioz's "Harold in Italy" for solo viola and orchestra, a piece I was working on at the time and one of my favorite pieces to this day.
