inktober 2017 Highlights

Inktober 2017 was one where I wanted to experiment for the first time with black and white on toned paper. Each illustration features an animal with a different type of flower. I enjoyed stretching myself and drawing animals out of my normal comfort zone and figuring out which lines need to be kept and which need to be left out for the flowers to read correctly! These are my favorites from the month and the ones I've chosen to do print runs of.

Each image is 5"x7" and was done in white, black, and metallic ink.
